International Business & Research Associate

We are looking for a smart, proactive and highly organised individual to work closely with the senior team members on international business research, market development and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Research international markets, companies, projects, tenders and business opportunities.
• Identify relevant companies, decision-makers, investors, partners and contractors for specific projects.
• Conduct detailed online research using Google, LinkedIn, company websites, databases and industry sources.
• Prepare shortlists, company profiles, market intelligence and meeting briefs.
• Identify and approach relevant contacts and coordinate business meetings internationally.
• Maintain contact databases, follow-ups and action trackers.
• Support international travel arrangements including flights, hotels, visas and itineraries.
• Prepare presentations, Excel reports and other business documents.
• Handle other business and administrative assignments as required.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent internet research and computer skills.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office skills.
• Good knowledge of LinkedIn and online business research.
• Able to identify the right company and the right person for a specific requirement.
• Strong communication, follow-up and organisational skills.
• Proactive and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable using ChatGPT / AI tools for research and productivity.
• International business, Oil & Gas, Energy, Engineering or infrastructure experience is an advantage.
