Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India, focused on International Business Development – New Business Conversion for coco coir products. The role involves identifying and qualifying new international customers, managing lead generation, and converting prospects into long-term business partners. Responsibilities include conducting market research on target countries and segments, analyzing customer requirements, and preparing tailored proposals and pricing strategies. The position requires regular communication with overseas buyers, coordinating samples and shipments with internal teams, and maintaining accurate sales and pipeline reports. The role also includes participation in trade events, digital outreach, and continuous monitoring of market trends to support growth in key export markets.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in International Business Development and International Business, with experience in global customer acquisition and relationship management.
• Ability to conduct structured Market Research, including competitor analysis, demand assessment, and market entry strategies.
• Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Proven Sales capabilities, with experience in negotiations, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets in B2B environments.
• Knowledge of export processes, international trade regulations, and documentation relevant to agro or horticulture products is an advantage.
• Familiarity with coco coir, horticulture substrates, or agricultural inputs is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, with strong data management and reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, logistics, and quality teams, and to travel internationally as required.
