International Business Development Manager - Coco Peat

Role & responsibilities

Job Title: International Business Development Manager Coco Coir / Coco Peat

Job Summary:
Responsible for converting international business leads into new customers and generating first orders for Coco Coir, Coco Peat and related products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle international customer enquiries and business leads.

2. Communicate with overseas customers through email, calls, WhatsApp and video meetings.

3. Understand customer requirements, specifications, quantity and quality needs.

4. Prepare and coordinate quotations and commercial offers.

5. Follow up regularly with prospective customers.

6. Negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.

7. Handle customer queries and objections effectively.

8. Convert qualified leads into confirmed orders.

9. Identify new international buyers through LinkedIn, B2B platforms, cold calling and market research.

10. Maintain lead pipeline and provide regular sales updates.

11. Build strong relationships with new international customers.

12. Coordinate with internal teams and hand over confirmed customers to the Traders Team.

13. Achieve new customer acquisition and business development targets.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Any Graduate / MBA preferred
Experience: 5 - 10 years in International Sales / Export Sales / Business Development
Preferred Industry: Coco Coir, Coco Peat, Horticulture, Growing Media or Agro Products
Key Skills: International communication, lead conversion, negotiation, follow-up, customer acquisition and excellent English communication.
