Internal Control Executive

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Control

1) Perform testing of internal control across enabling functions and business divisions and ensure documentation of evidence.

2) Follow up with stakeholders to track open issues, corrective actions, and closure status for control findings.

3) Maintain accurate records of control tests, checklists and supporting documents.

4) Coordinate with departments to collect information required for control reviews.

5) Escalate exceptions to the supervisor.

6) Perform tasks in control improvement projects, as assigned

Enterprise Risk Management

1) Collection of risk related information from business functions and follow up on pending inputs.

2) Assist in preparing risk register for management / RCM / RMC review.

3) Track mitigation actions, deadlines, and status updates for identified risks.

4) Perform other ERM-related administrative and coordination tasks as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Technical Knowledge

Basic understanding of:

• Internal control concepts
• Compliance requirements
• Audit processes
• Risk awareness
• Documentation and record-keeping
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Exposure to ERP systems or business process systems preferred.

Functional Skills

• Ability to perform control testing and documentation.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prepare checklists, trackers, and summary reports.
• Comfort in handling data, records, and supporting evidence.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across departments.

EXPERIENCE/ EXPOSURE

Chartered Accountant - 3- 5 years of relevant experience in internal controls, audit and compliance
