About this role
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and execution of internal audits.
- Perform vouching, reconciliations, and test checks of records.
- Support stock verification, asset audits, and compliance reviews.
- Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and evidence files.
- Draft preliminary audit observations and assist in report preparation.
- Verify adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and SOPs.
- Liaise with departments to collect data and resolve discrepancies.
- Be ready to travel across India for audit assignments.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Familiarity with ERP systems including Tally.
- Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation ability.
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
Qualifications
- CA Inter/ICWA Inter preferred.
