About the Role

As a Tax Intern at Swiss Beauty, you will support the Finance and Taxation team in day-to-day tax compliance and financial activities. The role involves assisting with GST and TDS compliance, invoice verification, tax reconciliations, and maintaining accurate tax records. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate taxation, input tax credit reconciliation, and audit documentation while working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timely compliance with applicable tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in GST compliance, including preparation and reconciliation of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Support the preparation and filing of TDS returns and related documentation.
• Assist in reconciling GST input tax credit (ITC) with purchase records and GSTR-2B.
• Verify tax invoices, purchase bills, and other supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing tax workings, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Support the finance team in maintaining accurate tax records and documentation.
• Assist with vendor and customer ledger reconciliations related to taxation.
• Help prepare data for statutory audits, tax audits, and departmental assessments.
• Conduct basic research on GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions.
• Coordinate with internal finance teams to obtain documents and resolve discrepancies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, or a related qualification.
• Basic understanding of accounting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, including basic formulas and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
