About this role
We are looking for Design Drafting Interns to support the engineering and industrialisation team in setting up our new manufacturing plant, as well as development of Drawing of Draft for SGY project. The intern will work on 3D plant/layout modelling, 2D engineering drawings, SOP documentation and basic manufacturing documentation using Autodesk Fusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update 3D layouts of plant, production areas, workstations and equipment using Autodesk Fusion.
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts and detailed drafts for manufacturing and plant requirements.
- Support preparation and updating of SOPs, Work Instructions, process layouts and visual documentation.
- Convert shop-floor requirements and hand sketches into accurate CAD drawings/layouts.
- Support measurement, documentation and mapping of existing/new plant infrastructure.
- Assist the team in workstation, material flow and equipment placement planning.
- Maintain drawing/document revisions and ensure proper version control.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to incorporate changes in layouts and documentation.
- Support creation of visual aids, process diagrams and line-side documentation.
- Assist in other engineering and plant industrialization activities as required.
Must Have Skills:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Autodesk Fusion / Fusion 360.
- Understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances and manufacturing processes.
