Intern - HR Operations

Role & responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including pre-onboarding, onboarding, probation confirmation, employee data updates, and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate new joiner activities such as document verification, employment documentation, onboarding sessions, welcome communications, HRMS updates, and cross functional coordination with Recruitment, IT, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Maintain employee records, personnel files, HRMS data, statutory documentation, insurance records, and other HR-related trackers with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in payroll inputs, background verification (BGV) processes, employee letters, and various employee administration requests throughout the employment lifecycle.
• Support rewards & recognition programs, employee communications, distribution of certificates/goodies, and other HR initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, presentations, expense trackers, process documentation, and internal knowledge repositories.
• Coordinate document management activities, including record archiving, vendor coordination, courier management, and compliance-related documentation.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR team while ensuring timely closure of HR requests and employee queries.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn HR Operations, Employee Lifecycle Management, and HR Systems.
