Interior Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Execute interior fit-out works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
• Ensure work is carried out according to company quality standards.

Site Coordination

• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before execution.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and furniture installation activities.
• Resolve site-level issues and escalate critical concerns promptly.
• Manage multiple agencies working simultaneously at the site.

Quality Control

• Ensure workmanship meets approved quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and snag checks.
• Monitor finishing quality of carpentry, stone, tile, paint, ceiling, and MEP works.
• Maintain quality checklists and closure records.

Material Management

• Verify material deliveries against approved BOQ and specifications.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely material availability.
• Maintain site inventory records.

Planning & Progress Monitoring

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Track project milestones and identify potential delays.
• Update project schedules and coordinate corrective actions when required.
• Support billing and quantity verification activities.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all site personnel follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping and site discipline.
• Conduct toolbox talks and monitor compliance with safety procedures.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Attend client and consultant meetings.
• Provide regular updates on project progress.
• Ensure timely closure of client observations and punch points.
• Support project handover and final snag closure.

Technical Skills Required

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out materials and execution methodologies.
• Understanding of BOQ, quantity verification, and site measurements.
• Familiarity with commercial and residential interior execution.
• Knowledge of quality standards and construction sequencing.
