Designcafe is hiring Interior/ Furniture designer-Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and specifications.

Evaluate existing products and technologies for potential improvements and innovations.

Design and Development:

Design and develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models based on product requirements.

Utilize CAD software and other tools for product design and modeling.

Work with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and scalability of designs.

Testing and Validation:

Plan and conduct product testing to validate performance, reliability, and safety.

Analyze test data and iterate on designs to optimize product functionality.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish testing protocols and standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and other teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including design specifications, test plans, and reports.

Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior/ Furniture Designing

3 to 4 years experience in product research, design, and development, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Proficiency in softwares like SketchUp & AutoCAD and has peripheral knowledge of presentation & graphics platforms such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Creative thinking and a passion for innovation.
