Interior Expert – Sales Location: Pune, Delhi, Mumbai Experience: 3+ Years Role Type: Individual Contributor + Team Management About the Role We are looking for an Interior Expert – Sales with strong knowledge of the interiors industry and proven experience in B2C sales, customer consultation, negotiation, and closures. The role involves managing customers across assigned zones, understanding their interior requirements, recommending suitable brands and solutions, accompanying customers on brand visits, and driving the complete sales journey from requirement understanding to final closure. The role will also involve managing and mentoring 2 Relationship Managers (RMs) who will support customer coordination and meeting alignment. Key Responsibilities Understand customer requirements, budget, design preferences, scope of work, and timelines. Recommend suitable interior brands and solutions based on customer needs. Demonstrate strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, materials, finishes, hardware, pricing, and interior solutions. Accompany customers on brand visits and drive the sales journey through consultation, negotiation, and closure. Own and achieve assigned sales, booking, and revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with interior brands across assigned zones. Manage, coach, and guide 2 RMs to ensure effective lead follow-up and customer coordination. Monitor sales pipeline, conversions, closures, and customer experience. Identify opportunities to improve conversion and drive business growth. Working Model 80% Field | 20% Office Field: Customer meetings, brand visits, consultations, negotiations, and closures. Office: Reviews, planning, reporting, pipeline tracking, and team management. Must-Have Skills & Experience 3+ years of sales experience with strong B2C exposure. Prior experience in the interiors/home interiors industry. 1 Strong understanding of home interiors, modular furniture, materials, finishes, hardware, and interior brands. Proven track record of sales closures and target achievement. Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills. Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and consultative selling skills. Target-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through. Comfortable with extensive field travel and customer-facing responsibilities. Ability to manage, coach, and mentor a small sales team. 2-wheeler mandatory for local travel.
