Role Description This is a full-time on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, space plans, and layouts for residential and commercial projects, translating client requirements into functional and aesthetically coherent designs. Day-to-day tasks include preparing interior drawings and construction documents, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and contracting teams to ensure design intent is executed on site. The role involves attending client meetings, presenting design proposals, incorporating feedback, and maintaining alignment with project budgets and timelines. The Interior Designer will also collaborate with 3D visualisers and architects to refine designs and support high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with experience in residential and/or commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills, including the ability to optimize layouts for functionality, circulation, and aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills, including preparing detailed interior drawings, plans, sections, and elevations for execution on site.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finishes.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with 3D visualization workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and cross-functional project teams.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and readiness to work on site as needed to support execution and quality control.
