Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Patna in a full-time capacity, collaborating with clients and the internal team to develop design concepts for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits and measurements, preparing space plans and mood boards, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and translating concepts into detailed drawings and presentations. The role involves coordinating with vendors and contractors, reviewing construction drawings, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. The Interior Designer will also support project scheduling, cost considerations, and quality checks, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and documenting project progress.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically coherent concepts.
- Candidates should possess Space Planning skills to optimize layouts and circulation for residential and commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections used for on-site execution.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills, including selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with the design concept.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply client requirements.
- Effective collaboration, time management, and on-site coordination skills; prior experience in residential and/or commercial interiors is an advantage.
