Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Nagpur. The Interior Designer will develop concepts, mood boards, and layouts, translating client requirements into functional, aesthetic designs for residential and commercial spaces. Daily responsibilities include site visits, space planning, preparing design presentations, coordinating with the in-house manufacturing team, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves preparing and reviewing drawings and specifications, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, incorporate feedback, and oversee design execution to maintain quality, consistency, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, visually cohesive layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and coordination with structural and MEP requirements for integrated design solutions.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and detailed working drawings for execution.
- Strong skills in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories aligned with project concepts.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly to clients and teams.
- Experience managing on-site coordination, vendor interactions, and project timelines; prior work in custom furniture or turnkey interiors is an advantage.
