Interior Designer

About the Role

We are looking for an Interior Designer with 2-4 years of experience in residential projects. The role involves developing design concepts, preparing working drawings, finalising materials, and coordinating with the execution team to take projects from the design stage to site implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop space plans, furniture layouts, and interior design concepts based on project requirements.
• Prepare working drawings for flooring, false ceilings, electrical layouts, lighting, wall elevations, and custom furniture.
• Develop design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes for client approvals.
• Research and shortlist materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories in line with the design concept and project budget.
• Coordinate with site teams to clarify drawings, address on-site constraints, and resolve design discrepancies.
• Identify practical challenges during design development and ensure that proposed solutions are workable on site.
• Incorporate client feedback and maintain consistency between approved designs, drawings, and material specifications.
• Manage assigned tasks and drawing submissions in line with project schedules.
• Maintain clear communication with the design, execution, and procurement teams to ensure a smooth flow of information.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in residential interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Sound knowledge of interior materials, construction methods, furniture detailing, and finishing systems.
• Ability to develop a design from an initial concept into a complete set of working drawings.
• Comfortable coordinating with clients, vendors, and site personnel.
• Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for assigned projects.
