Interior Designer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Understand client requirements, preferences, budgets, and design expectations.
• Prepare space plans, 2D layouts, 3D designs, and detailed working drawings.
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar tools.
• Select suitable materials, furniture, lighting, colours, finishes, and accessories.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and execution teams.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, material specifications, and design presentations.
• Maintain quality standards and resolve design-related issues during execution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D visualization software.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior execution.
• Good communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Qualification

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• 47 years of relevant experience in interior design.
• Experience in residential or commercial interior projects is preferred.
• A portfolio showcasing completed projects is required.
