Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership & Execution

• Conceptualise and deliver innovative, functional interior spaces
• Ensure strong adherence to design principles, material selection, and aesthetics
• Specialise in residential and commercial interior design projects

2. Design Review & Coordination

• Review consultant inputs for space utilisation, efficiency, and compliance
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, contractors, and stakeholders
• Establish communication protocols for RFIs, design data, and material approvals

3. Material & Specification Management

• Advise on material palette, compatibility, and industry trends
• Develop and review shop drawings, specifications, and finishes
• Ensure outcomes align with intended design vision and quality standards

4. Testing, Approvals & Mock-ups

• Define and drive testing and approval processes
• Oversee mock-ups and benchmarking for aesthetic and performance standards
• Ensure compliance with national and international certifications

5. Site Execution & Quality Control

• Inspect site installations, finishes, and mock-ups
• Identify defects, detailing gaps, and interface issues
• Prepare snag reports and recommend corrective actions

6. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Provide technical advice on finishes, materials, and processes
• Resolve design and execution conflicts effectively

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure proper documentation and design deliverables
• Support preparation of as-built Revit models
• Maintain project records and reports

Candidate Profile

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture / Interior Design
• 15–20 years of experience in interior design
• Experience in real estate industry preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• 3ds Max
• Revit
• Adobe Creative Suite
• MS Office
