Interior Designer - Job Description
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Experience: Fresher to 2 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Develop store layouts, floor plans, and interior design concepts.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and design presentations.
- Assist in retail store design, renovation, and fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project execution.
- Conduct site visits and monitor project progress.
- Ensure designs align with brand standards and customer experience goals.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
- Support visual merchandising and store ambience enhancement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Fresher to 2 years of experience in interior design projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar design software.
- Knowledge of space planning, materials, and retail design concepts.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for site visits when required.
Preferred Skills
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong visualization and presentation skills.
- Basic project management and vendor coordination knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
