About this role
Responsibilities
- Supporting the retail design development and execution of our concept stores
- Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, and construction time
- Direct activities of workers engaged in execution at the site
- Integrate engineering element into unified design
- Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans
- Work on plans, designs, and furnishes interior environments of retail outlets
- Integrates knowledge of interior design and formulates plan to be practical
- Ensure that the interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, color schemes, color coordination are done properly
- On site execution of Civil and interior work as per drawings shared
- Quality check for obtaining standard finishes
- Collaborate on high-end hospitality projects alongside globally renowned partners such as The Oberoi Group and designer Bill Bensley.

Hidesign started in 1978, as a hobby by Dilip Kapur on his return to India after his Ph.D in International Affairs in the United States. The first few bags were different compared to anything being manufactured in Europe and America at that time. From small alternative shops in San Francisco and London, the bags moved to the first adventurous department stores in the early 1990s in London, California and Australia. Hidesign launched its first exclusive boutique in India in 1998 and has quickly grown to 84 exclusive stores and a distribution network in 23 countries that has placed its product in over 2000 stores across the globe
