Interior Designer
Job Overview
We are looking for an Interior Designer / Technical Designer to join our team in Jamnagar. The candidate will be
responsible for studying architectural and interior design drawings for residential, hotel, commercial, and other
projects, understanding project requirements, extracting quantities and dimensions, and preparing requisitions for the
quotation team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Study and understand drawings received from architects, interior designers, consultants, and clients.
2. Identify window locations and understand requirements from floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and
detailed drawings.
3. Extract quantities, dimensions, sizes, locations, and relevant specifications accurately.
4. Understand the design intent and identify what is required for each opening.
5. Learn and understand blinds, curtains, fabrics, manual & motorized systems, fixing methods, tracks, channels, and
accessories.
6. Prepare accurate Quantity Take-Offs based on drawings.
7. Prepare detailed Requisition Forms for the quotation team with all required technical information.
8. Identify missing information or discrepancies in drawings and coordinate with the relevant team for clarification.
9. Coordinate with Sales, Quotation, Production, and Project teams to ensure accurate understanding of
requirements.
10. Read, interpret, mark-up, and make basic modifications to AutoCAD drawings as required.
11. Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, quantities, and requisitions.

Qualifications & Experience
1. Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Interior Architecture or a related field.
2. Relevant experience in Interior Design / Interior Fit-Out / Architectural Design is mandatory.
3. Experience working on residential, hotel, commercial, or hospitality projects will be preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
5. Good knowledge of MS Excel and quantity calculations.
6. Strong understanding of architectural and interior design drawings.
7. Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measurements and numbers.
8. Experience in blinds and curtains is not required; product and technical knowledge will be provided by the
company.
Ideal Candidate
The candidate should be able to independently read an interior/architectural drawing understand the design
requirement identify relevant sizes and quantities interpret the requirement and prepare a complete
requisition for the quotation team.
Candidates with relevant Interior Design / Interior Fit-Out drawing experience are encouraged to apply.
