Interior Design Intern

Role Description The Interior Design Intern will support the design team in developing interior concepts, layouts, and material selections for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, supporting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications, and coordinating with vendors under supervision. The intern will help create drawings, presentations, and documentation, while participating in client meetings and site visits as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, where the intern will work closely with architects and interior designers to gain hands-on experience throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and understanding of design principles.
• Ability in Space Planning and basic knowledge of Furniture layout and selection.
• Familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) coordination and material selection.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with clients.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape or similar) and basic graphic presentation tools.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to take feedback constructively.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines in an on-site studio environment.
