Interaction Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interaction Designer with 8+ years of expertise in designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining user interactions, workflows, navigation patterns, and design behaviors that enhance usability and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with UX researchers, product managers, visual designers, and development teams to create seamless and engaging products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user interaction flows, wireframes, user journeys, and task flows.
• Create intuitive navigation systems and interaction patterns for web and mobile applications.
• Translate business requirements and user needs into effective interaction designs.
• Develop low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts and user experiences.
• Conduct interaction design workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define product experiences.
• Work closely with UX researchers to incorporate user insights into design decisions.
• Define micro-interactions, animations, transitions, and interactive components.
• Partner with UI designers to ensure visual consistency and usability standards.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of interaction designs.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, component libraries, and interaction guidelines.
• Perform usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback and analytics.
• Stay updated with emerging design trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Interaction Design (IxD) principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure RP, or similar design tools.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, and journey maps.
• Strong understanding of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles.
• Experience designing responsive and mobile-first applications.
• Knowledge of usability testing, accessibility (WCAG), and inclusive design practices.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-driven design approaches.
• Ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
