About this role
- Manage critically ill patients in ICU, HDU and emergency settings.
- Handle patients requiring mechanical ventilation, vasopressors and advanced life support.
- Manage sepsis, septic shock, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, multi-organ failure and trauma.
- Perform procedures such as central venous catheterization, arterial lines, intubation and tracheostomy care.
- Conduct daily ICU rounds and monitor patient progress.
- Coordinate with specialists such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Pulmonology and Surgery.
- Manage medical emergencies and participate in Code Blue/resuscitation.
- Guide and supervise ICU nursing and clinical teams.
- Communicate treatment plans and prognosis to patients families.
- Maintain proper clinical documentation and ICU protocols.
