Insurance and Sales Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a confident, well-spoken and business-oriented professional to join our team and take responsibility for developing and growing our insurance business.

The role will involve understanding insurance products, developing sales opportunities, building relationships with customers and partners, and supporting the overall growth of the company's insurance business.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with senior professionals and external stakeholders and should have the confidence to clearly explain the company's business model, plans and processes when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and grow the company's insurance sales business.

* Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders.

* Understand insurance products and explain their features and benefits clearly to customers.

* Support the development and execution of insurance sales strategies.

* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of insurance-related activities.

* Prepare and present business-related information, plans and proposals to relevant stakeholders when required.

* Maintain proper documentation and ensure that assigned activities are carried out in accordance with company processes and applicable requirements.

* Track sales performance, follow up on leads and work towards achieving business targets.

* Stay updated with developments in the insurance industry and relevant business practices.

Candidate Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in any discipline; candidates with relevant insurance, finance, sales or business experience will be preferred.

* Prior experience in *insurance sales, financial services, BFSI, relationship management or business development* is preferred.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.

* Should be confident while interacting with senior-level professionals and external stakeholders.

* Ability to understand a business model and communicate it clearly and logically.

* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

* Good understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.

* Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

* Professional attitude with good written and verbal communication skills.
