Role Description The Insurance Agent role is a full-time hybrid position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with a mix of on-site client interactions and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Insurance Agent will identify prospective clients, explain life insurance and financial protection solutions, and recommend suitable plans aligned with customer needs and life goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting customer meetings, performing basic financial needs assessments, preparing proposals, and assisting clients throughout the application and policy issuance process. The Insurance Agent will maintain ongoing relationships with policyholders, provide policy servicing and support, and ensure timely follow-up for renewals and additional coverage opportunities. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, adhering to regulatory and company guidelines, and meeting assigned sales and service targets.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to present and explain life insurance products clearly and ethically.
• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance, including basic financial planning knowledge and understanding of risk and protection needs.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on relationship building, responsiveness, and problem-solving for policyholders.
• Relevant experience in life insurance, banking, financial services, or telesales is beneficial.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English and local languages, and comfort with digital tools and CRM systems are preferred.
• Ability to work toward sales targets, manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment, and comply with regulatory and company standards is required.
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred; appropriate licensing or certification as per insurance regulations may be required or supported by the company.
