Instrumentation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and commission instrumentation systems for power plants to ensure efficient operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in existing instrumentation systems and implement changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues with instrumentation equipment and perform root cause analysis to resolve problems quickly.
• Develop documentation for instrumentation systems, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

Job Requirements :

• 2-8 years of experience in an Instrumentation Engineer role within the Power industry.
• Strong understanding of control system principles, data acquisition techniques, and industrial automation concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic or function block diagrams (FBD).
• Experience working with various types of sensors, transmitters, controllers, etc.
