Instrumentation Engineer

Role Requirements:

• Design & detailed engineering of instrumentation and electrical work scope for chemical plants, such as the generation of instrument lists, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable lists, etc.
• Prepare specifications and datasheets for Field Instruments, Control Valves, Flow Meters, etc.
• Preparing the instrument index and I/O list according to P&I drawings
• Preparation of Cable Tray Layout, Instrument BOM, Junction box layouts, etc.
• Selection of instruments, cables, junction boxes, etc.
• Preparing PLC/DCS architecture engineering and drawing
• Experience in system testing (FAT and SAT)
• Preparation of Loop drawings, Hookup drawings, etc.
• Preparation of Pneumatic diagrams & BOM
• Calculate and select cable sizes, cable glands & cable trays.
• Hands-on experience in drafting software like AutoCAD is a must.
• Develop electrical and instrument layout drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Develop cable tray routing drawings using AutoCAD software.

The candidate shall have experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in instrumentation or Electronics
• 5-8 years experience as Instrumentation Engineer for Chemical/Oil & Gas/Pharma plants
• Exposure to Electrical engineering activities is desirable
• Good command of English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, contributing to the team's goals and objectives.
