Key Responsibilities

• Review client tender documents, specifications, data sheets, and project scope for I&C requirements.
• Finalize design basis, instrument index, I/O lists, and instrument BOM.
• Perform instrument sizing calculations (control valves, ESD valves, flow elements).
• Prepare & Review (Contractor documents) for FEED & detailed engineering deliverables: 
• Instrument datasheets
• Hook-up drawings
• Cable schedules
• Loop diagrams
• Junction box layouts
• Control room layouts
• Panel specifications (RTU/PLC/SCADA cabinets)
• Understand and Develop control narratives, cause & effect matrices, shutdown logic, and alarm philosophy.
• Review and validate P&IDs and ensure alignment with control and safety systems.
• Prepare technical specifications for instruments, analysers, RTUs, and control systems.
• Evaluate vendor offers, review technical documents, and participate in TBE 
• Interface with mechanical, electrical, civil, process, and SCADA teams for integrated engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical support for construction, commissioning, and site queries.
• Ensure and update client specification with relevant standards: ASME, API, ISA, IEC, OISD, PNGRB, and client-specific standards.
