Instrumentation Designer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design instruments, instrument loops, and instrument index for offshore oil & gas projects using SP3D software.
  
• Create single-line diagrams (SLDs) and P&IDs for process control systems.
  
• Develop cable schedule drawings and instrument hookup drawings for installation on FPSO platforms.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  
• Provide technical support during commissioning and startup phases of the project.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-20 years of experience in instrument design engineering with a focus on offshore oil & gas projects.
  
• Proficiency in SP3D software for designing instruments, instrument loops, and indexes.
  
• Strong understanding of Smart Plant 3D software for creating SLDs and P&IDs.
  
• Experience working on FPSO projects or similar complex industrial facilities preferred.
