Instrumentation and Maintenance Engineer

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

• Operate and monitor PLC and SCADA systems for water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Ensure smooth plant operation by monitoring critical parameters and optimizing process performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation-related issues.
• Handle alarms, interlocks, and trip conditions to maintain plant safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate operational data, trends, logs, and generate daily/monthly performance reports.
• Support modifications, optimization of control logic, and system upgrades for improved efficiency.
• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and chemical teams for routine and breakdown maintenance.
• Follow HSE standards, plant safety procedures, and basic industrial cybersecurity protocols.
• Maintain SOPs, PLC logic documentation, change logs, and system configuration records.
• Respond to plant emergencies, system failures, and assist in quick recovery and root cause analysis.

QUALIFICATION

• Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control Engineering

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 810 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance
• Experience in water treatment / river water intake / large infrastructure plants
• Experience in 100 MLD and above plants preferred.
