Job Description

1. Ensure compliance to standards, procedures and best practices
2. Ensure high availability and reliability of field instruments, PLC, DCS, SCADA, MCMS, F&G analysers, and control valves/Field instrument.
3. Lead the Instrumentation Department and manage engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
4. Plan and execute shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.
5. Prepare Plant budgets and control maintenance costs. Manage optimum Instrumentation maintenance cost and budgeting.
6. Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for instrumentation and control systems.
7. Drive automation improvements, digitalization, and reliability enhancement initiatives.
8. Experience in project execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
9. Participation in PSSR and its compliance, ensure statutory compliance are done before commissioning
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and quality management systems.
11. Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, Electrical, Projects, and Procurement departments.
12. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
13. Monitor KPIs such as equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, calibration compliance, and maintenance backlog.
14. Coordination &support Turnaround and shutdown and execution to all plant.
15. Support operation team during commissioning
16. Familiarity with SAP PM/MMCS maintenance systems.
17. Manage calibration programs for all critical instruments and ensure compliance with standards.
18. Develop team competency through training and performance management.
19. Expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA, SIS, field instrumentation, analysers, and control valves.
20. Knowledge of HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus, and industrial Ethernet.
21. VED analysis validation and ensure PM and CM plans are in place in all plant.
22. Level-2 HITRA preparation and finalization
23. SMP validation and Ensure CAS compliance
24. Contractor manpower planning and JMS entry/authorisation certification)
25. Review engineering documents such as P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, cable schedules, and control philosophies.
26. Strong understanding of IEC, ISA, and other applicable standards.
