Institutional Equity Division, Manager , Futures Content NY

The Futures Content team is responsible for creating differentiated and value-added content and analyses around cross-asset futures markets, and engaging with institutional clients to drive Listed Derivatives revenues. We develop frameworks, rooted in a fundamental understanding of futures markets, to identify trading opportunities based on positioning, liquidity, and costs.

What youll do in the role:

• Working on Exploratory Data Analysis on historical time series data using Python (primary libraries: Pandas, Numpy, matplotlib, datetime).
• Pulling various stats creating content around several market metrics like returns, liquidity, open interest changes, volumes, etc.
• Develop Analytics framework around options on futures datasets.
• Scheduling and running Jupyter notebooks, VBA macros that pull in the latest data inputs, refresh calculations, apply the methodology and generate positioning liquidity reports.
• Automate processes through Python that can save time updating the futures model outputs.
• Troubleshoot errors on Python/ VBA macros that may occur while working on different frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg.

What youll bring to the role

• 4-5 years of relevant working experience on Python, VBA and Excel
• Engineering Degree from Tier2 colleges. Any progress towards CFA will be an added benefit
• Mandatory knowledge of programming languages such as Python and VBA to work with financial data
• Deep understanding of Derivatives Futures market
• Strong inter-personal / communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
• Note this is EMEA shift
