Inside Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end B2C sales - from lead engagement to closure - for PaperLive's certification and job-ready programs

• Conduct consultative counselling calls to understand prospective learners' career goals and recommend the right program
• Achieve and exceed individual and team revenue/enrolment targets on a monthly basis
• Maintain a strong, structured follow-up process to maximize lead-to-conversion ratio
• Build and maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting in the CRM
• Handle objections effectively and negotiate confidently while maintaining company pricing/discount policies
• Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates
• Mentor and support junior counsellors/inside sales executives to help them achieve targets
• Stay updated on PaperLive's course offerings, industry trends, and competitor landscape

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in B2C EdTech Sales is preferable.

• Strong track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle high call/lead volumes with a structured, disciplined approach

• Comfortable working with CRM tools and sales dashboards

• Self-motivated, resilient, and target-oriented mindset

• Prior experience managing or mentoring a small sales team is a plus

• Must be willing to work full-time from our HSR Layout, Bengaluru office (this is not a remote or hybrid role)
