Infrastructure Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer the complete IT Infrastructure.
• Develop standard practices to run IT infra.
• Align the tools and technologies to reduce human efforts and minimize mistakes for an efficient and smooth experience for users.
• Vendor engagement for purchase, license, and maintenance contract.
• Manage the on-premises environment to the cloud (Azure & AWS).
• Manage local AD, Azure AD, Office 365, administration, licensing, and changes.
• Anti-virus, tenable audit, and Patch (vulnerability) Management.
• Security solutions like antivirus, centralized login, and auditing.
• Hardware and software asset management.
• External audit and VAPT management.
• Firmware and hardware updates.
• Regular patching of Linux and Windows servers.
• Backup/replication of data and storage management/ updates.
• Hypervisor component setup/ install management/ updates/ monitoring.
• Hardening of servers and making them secure via different tools and techniques. Skills Required:
• Expert-level administration and optimization of hosts (Ubuntu & Windows) for physical and Cloud-based setup (Azure & AWS).
• Experience in configuring VMs, Databases, and Web Applications.
• Experience with ensuring a high availability environment, Business Continuity, and Disaster recovery.
• Patch Management and patch Automation experience.
• Backups, security, and redundancy strategies.
• Configuration and management of Active Directory services.
• Experience configuring, and maintaining hardware in a networked environment.
• Make recommendations to purchase hardware, software, and system components.
• Well aware of Information Systems security guidelines.
