- Perform regular monitoring of NAS ( NetApp) – SAN(IBM) and VSAN storage arrays using tools like ActiveIQ, , OCUM, BlueXP & VROPS ARIA OPERATION.
- Identify and report anomalies or incidents to Kyndryl and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct bi-weekly capacity checks with Kyndryl's Capacity Management team.
- Analyze storage growth, days to full metrics, and backup statuses.
- Validate RU (Resource Usage) reports and ORION/HENKA values to ensure accurate billing and cost control.
- Lead and support optimization projects initiated by Architects or Delivery Managers.
- Collaborate with Kyndryl (Provider) and internal teams to execute backup & storage related improvement/initiatives.
- Perform deep-dive analysis at the application level to identify high-usage areas and recommend optimizations.
- Conduct monthly audits to identify waste resources (e.g., orphan disks, unused VMs for Virtualization and storage technologies).
- Generate actionable reports using VROPS, IDR, and other tools.
- Maintain and update weekly tasks in JIRA for visibility and accountability.
- Assist the global mainframe team in preparing monthly metrology reports, focusing on the EU region.
- Monitor and validate backup & storage associated with VMs during taskforce decommissioning activities.
- Accountability: Takes full responsibility for the health, performance, and cost-efficiency of storage systems. Ensures timely execution of audits, reporting, and corrective actions with minimal supervision.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong data analysis skills for identifying trends and inefficiencies.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Initiative: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving storage-related issues.
- Collaboration: Ability to work across teams including Architecture, Finance, and Vendor Management.
