About The Role:

Were looking for a curious, data-driven Data Analyst, Risk and Compliance to support Second Line Risk and Compliance team through our Infosys partnership. This is a shared resource across the Second Line, reporting to Second Line Risk leadership. Youll be the teams go-to for data: building SQL-based compliance and controls tests, turning risk data into proactive insights and user-friendly dashboards, and acting as administrator and super-user of our GRC platform. Youll join a low-ego, high-agency team that values innovation, continuous learning, and high-quality work.

What Youll Be Doing

GRC Administration & Data Management:

• Act as GRC administrator and super-user across Regulatory Library, Issues & Events, RCSA, and TPRM.
• Own data standards and definitions so GRC data is used consistently.
• Build source data validation checks to confirm completeness and accuracy before use.
• Support user access, configuration, and training for GRC users.

Compliance & Controls Testing:

• Build SQL exception-based tests to validate adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Test full populations instead of samples wherever the data allows.
• Document queries and results so tests are reproducible and audit-ready.

Proactive Risk Insights:

• Analyze issues, events, complaints, and regulatory reportables for trends.
• Connect signals across data sources to surface emerging risks early.
• Separate real trends from data artefacts before reporting.

Dashboards & Reporting:

• Build user-friendly dashboards for risk leadership and committees.
• Automate recurring reporting on KRIs, issue aging, and testing results.
• Write short commentary on what changed and what needs attention.

AI, Automation & Innovation:

• Use AI and automation to streamline testing, data checks, and reporting.
• Stay current on RegTech and analytics trends in risk and compliance.

Who You Are

• You have 4-6 years in data analytics, risk reporting, or compliance testing in financial services; GRC system experience is a plus.
• You have strong SQL and BI skills (Sigma); Python is an asset.
• You communicate clearly and concisely, turning complex data into insights leaders can act on.
• Youre a self-starter with agency who works well cross-functionally and learns new domains and systems quickly.
