About this role

- Key Responsibilities:
- Process and validate sales tax-related financial and transactional data.
- Prepare and review U.S.
- sales tax returns for multiple states and jurisdictions.
- Research sales tax rates, rules, exemptions, nexus requirements, and jurisdictional changes.
- Review invoices and transactions for correct sales tax treatment.
- Perform sales tax reconciliations between accounting records, sales data, and tax filings.
- Assist with preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns.
- Maintain accurate tax records, supporting documentation, and filing schedules.
- Monitor tax notices and coordinate responses with internal teams or tax consultants.
- Assist with sales tax registrations, exemption certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve data or tax calculation issues.
- Prepare MIS and compliance reports related to sales tax activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling large volumes of financial information.
- Stay updated on changes in U.S. state and local sales tax regulations.
