Informatica PowerCenter Application Support

Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Informatica PowerCenter PC Application Support Engineer to provide production support monitoring troubleshooting and maintenance of ETL workflows and data integration processes
• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter SQL Unix Linux and incident management within a production support environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 L3 production support for Informatica PowerCenter applications and ETL workflows
• Monitor batch jobs workflows sessions and data pipelines to ensure successful execution
• Analyze and resolve production incidents service requests and problem tickets within agreed SLAs
• Troubleshoot ETL failures performance issues and data discrepancies
• Perform root cause analysis RCA and implement preventive measures
• Work closely with development database infrastructure and business teams to resolve issues
• Support deployment activities and application releases
• Monitor data loads and ensure data accuracy integrity and completeness
• Create and maintain support documentation SOPs and knowledge base articles
• Participate in on call support and weekend release activities when required

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter administration and support
• Good knowledge of ETL concepts mappings workflows sessions and repositories
• Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle SQL Server Teradata or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Unix Linux commands and shell scripting
• Knowledge of incident problem and change management processes
• Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow Remedy or Jira
• Understanding of production support processes and SLA management
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
