Informatica Developer

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Informatica Power Center (Designer, Repository &Workflow Manager)

• Experience in building complex SQL queries & Shell Scripting • Excellent understanding of various data base models Oracle/SQL server • Strong on DW fundamentals & concepts

• Experience in extracting, transforming and loading data from different sources like Flat Files, Database (oracle, SQL server), Mainframe files.

Role & responsibilities

• Interacting with Business Analyst and understanding the requirements.
• Understanding the mapping requirements and building the mappings/sessions/workflows
• Informatica mapping & Database performance tuning
• Identifying the performance bottlenecks in Informatica and fine tuning them
• Creating Shell scripting to automate the daily repetitive tasks.
• Creating test cases and documenting the Unit test Results
• Scheduling the jobs using Autosys or any scheduling tool.
