Industrial Trainee - Internal audit

a. Conduct pre-audit checks of all expense bills to verify compliance with company

policy, approval hierarchies, and documentation completeness.

b. Assist senior auditors in planning and execution of audits across various departments

(e.g., procurement, finance, Store,  Operations, HR, IT).

c. Perform process walkthroughs, test internal controls, and document audit findings

with supporting evidence.

d. Evaluate adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

e. Support in special audit assignments, including investigations into fraud or

misconduct, forensic audits, and whistleblower reviews.

f. Help in gathering, analyzing, and documenting evidence with discretion and

confidentiality.

g. Prepare and maintain audit working papers, audit reports, and trackers in

accordance with professional standards.

h. Prepare various (MIS) reports related to audit progress, open issues, and follow-ups.

i. Coordinate with various departments and auditees for resolution of audit issues.

j. Track the status of open audit observations and ensure timely implementation of

agreed corrective actions.Role & responsibilities
