Role Overview

The Industrial Trainee in Finance & Accounts will assist the accounting team in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, supporting periodic financial closings, and coordinating with auditors for accounting-related requirements. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and compliance processes.

* Assist in day-to-day accounting activities.
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
* Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
* Verify accounting transactions and ensure accuracy of financial records.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
* Coordinate with internal and external auditors for accounting-related queries and documentation requirements.
* Support compliance with accounting policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect financial data and resolve accounting issues.
* Assist in process improvement initiatives and maintenance of financial controls.

Skills & Competencies

* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

Eligibility Criteria

* Prior Articleship experience in accounting, finance(preferred but not mandatory).
