Core IR Manager - Plant HR

Location: HCIL Tapukara
Function: Human Resources Industrial Relations

Role Purpose

Lead Industrial Relations, Plant HR Compliance, Labour Law and Statutory Compliance to ensure a legally compliant, disciplined and stable plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end Plant HR and Industrial Relations compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Labour Laws, Labour Codes and statutory regulations.
• Lead implementation and governance of the four Labour Codes and regulatory changes.
• Manage statutory compliance including Factories/OSH, Contract Labour, PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages and Apprenticeship requirements.
• Handle workmen grievances, disciplinary cases, domestic enquiries and IR matters.
• Ensure contract labour compliance, audits and documentation.
• Liaise with Labour Authorities, Factory Inspectorate and other statutory bodies.
• Drive compliance audits, identify gaps and ensure timely corrective action.
• Support union/employee relations, negotiations and IR risk management.
• Partner with Legal and other functions on labour-law matters and litigation.

Candidate Profile

• MBA/PGDM – HR / MSW; LL.B. preferred.
• 6–12 years of experience in Plant HR / IR / Labour Compliance, preferably manufacturing/automotive.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Laws, Labour Codes and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in workmen management, contractor compliance, disciplinary proceedings and statutory authorities.
