Industrial Performance & Data Specialist

Job Summary

Air Liquide is looking for an Industrial Performance Data Specialist to drive operational excellence, lead key data initiatives, and build smart analytics solutions across our cluster. In this role, you will bridge operations and technology-turning complex industrial data into actionable insights, scaling Power BI tools, and optimizing performance management processes to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Enable Performance Management: Deploy and champion collaborative performance management frameworks, tracking key impact metrics, and cultivating sustainable continuous growth across operations.
• Build Smart BI Predictive Analytics: Design, build, and scale automated Power BI dashboards, advanced data models, and predictive analytics tools to empower fast, data-informed decision-making.
• Guide Data Governance Innovation Strategy: Partner seamlessly with business process owners to establish data quality standards, modernize data architecture, and transition away from legacy reporting tools.
• Facilitate Agile Project Execution: Serve as Business Project Manager for cluster data initiatives, guiding Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, flexible hybrid collaboration, and cross-functional synergy.
• Solve Operational Environmental Challenges: Analyze monthly performance trends, identify root causes for deviations, and co-create proactive action plans for safety, reliability, and carbon efficiency.
• Champion Growth Empowerment: Inspire tool adoption, facilitate empathetic change management initiatives, and deliver engaging, skill-building opportunities for newly deployed technologies.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or operational controlling, with a focus on impact and innovation.
• Technical Digital Skills: Practical expertise in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, automated analytical workflows, and data governance practices.
• Project Management: Proficiency in Agile project management to manage data initiatives from concept to rollout.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of operational KPIs, manufacturing/logistics processes, continuous improvement, human-centered change management, and flexible operational strategies.
• Interpersonal Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking and collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills to connect with diverse teams across all organizational levels.
• Residency: This position is open to applicants residing in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, China, or India.
