Industrial engineer / Lean / PM

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct Time Study and analyze process cycle times.
• Perform Line Balancing to improve manpower utilization and production efficiency.
• Identify process improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Support implementation of Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, VSM, 6S and 8W initiatives.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements in productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Support Industrial Engineering (IE) activities, process standardization and productivity improvement.
• Prepare and maintain process-related reports, documentation and analysis using MS Office.
• Support project activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and update process layouts/drawings using AutoCAD, where required.
• Coordinate with Production and cross-functional teams for implementation of improvement projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's/Diploma qualification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Industrial Engineering (IE), Time Study and Line Balancing.
• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools, including 6S, 8W, VSM, Kaizen and Poka-Yoke.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly understand processes, identify issues and learn new concepts.
• Experience or academic/project exposure in process improvement or IE projects will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
