Individual Relationship Officer

Job Title: Individual Relationship Officer - Mortgage

Department: Rural / Mortgage Sales

Job Summary:

Responsible for sourcing new customers and growing the mortgage business through direct sourcing, customer relationships, and market development. The role also involves maintaining portfolio quality and generating additional revenue through Life Insurance (LI).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source new customers for Mortgage / Home Loan / LAP products through own sourcing.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and generate references.
3. Build a strong pipeline and achieve monthly business targets.
4. Conduct market visits and meet minimum 3 new customers daily.
5. Understand local market conditions, competition, and land/property-related requirements.
6. Ensure proper documentation, pre-screening, and timely login of loan applications.
7. Coordinate with Risk, Legal and Credit teams for smooth processing and disbursement.
8. Ensure all proposals are offered Life Insurance (LI) as required.

Required Skills:

1. Good understanding of Mortgage / Home Loan / LAP business.
2. Knowledge of the local market and competition.
3. Basic understanding of property/legal documentation.
4. Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer acquisition skills.
5. Ability to work on field sales and achieve business targets.
