Indirect taxation.

Correspondences with government authorities like GST-REFUND, DGFT, CUSTOMS,

Daily communication with custom authority at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nhava Sheva regarding issues related to export or import shipments. Reply as per custom law against queries raise by custom on export and import shipments.

Reply of Show cause notice issued by various authorities of customs.

Take export incentive against export under foreign Trade Policy like Duty Drawback, RoDTEP etc. Also apply for release of blocked export incentives due to some reasons or errors. 

Apply for EPCG license, Advance Authorization, Advance license to DGFT and closer the issued licenses with necessary submission as per FTP.

Import license for import of restricted or prohibited items. We have taken import license from PIMS or NFMIMS before import of aluminum foils or paper grids for each import shipments.  

Apply for Certificate of origin both preferential and Non-preferential as per requirement under foreign trade agreement for export of goods to specific countries.  

I have daily refer various governments site for new updates for GST, CUSTOMS & DGFT (Notifications and circulars issued by gov.).

Daily study  new case law regarding to GST , CUSTOM & DGFT on my register site for update about court decisions on concern issues and applicable it if require for our organization. 

EPR registration and filing returns for plastic import under CPCB act.

EPR registration and filing return for import of electric and electronic engineering products under CPCB act.

Work of Weight and measurement department. Filing of all return for all companies and all India branches under legal and metrology department. LMPC License.

NPPA National Pharma Pricing Authority – File Form III & VI for revise MRP and MRP for Drug fall under DPCO.

Insurance – Communication with insurance brokers companies for quotation to take new insurance policies as require or renewal of old policies like Marin policy, fire policy, vehicle policy, motor policy, product liability policy, WA or GPA policy etc.  Claim under insurance policy if require my interfere. 

Indirect Tax:

• State wise compliance with respect to GST, VAT, CST
• Closure of Indirect Tax Assessments of VAT, CST
• Active Participation in GST Audit
• Dealing with departments like Commercial Taxes and follow-up with Consultants
• Well updated on GST
• Maintain structured and well-organized indirect tax data to enable easy collation and retrieval of information
• Assist in the smooth execution of GST audits, ensuring timely responses and adherence to audit requirements.
• Represent the Company during interactions with tax authorities for audits, investigations, and routine proceedings
• Drafting written submissions against notices, audit findings, and query letters
• Assist in driving the digitalization and automation of indirect tax data and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide indirect tax advisory support to various business functions, including clarifications on GST implications for transactions.
• Company property insurance to be taken and timely renewal
