Indirect Tax Associate

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Assist in preparation of GST returns (BAS) for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Provide support to senior team members in indirect taxation matters, including GST compliance and advisory services.
• Conduct research on changes in indirect tax laws, regulations, and policies to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and opportunities related to indirect taxes.

Job Requirements :

• 0-2 years of experience in indirect taxation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Australian indirect tax laws, particularly GST.
• Proficiency in preparing complex financial reports using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero.
