India Field Service Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical leadership and drive service excellence at the India Field Service Center (IFSC) in Manesar.

In this role, you will lead instrument repair, testing, refurbishment and technical support activities, resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement in service quality, turnaround time, customer experience and cost-effectiveness.

You will also strengthen repair capabilities, establish best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and overall service business performance.

This is an on-site position based at the India Field Service Center (IFSC) in Manesar, India with requirement to work on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in Agilent instruments, particularly LC/GC and MS systems, including repair, maintenance, testing, complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Proven technical leadership in resolving complex instrument issues, implementing sustainable corrective actions and providing expert technical guidance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders and translate business priorities into actionable plans while adapting to changing technical and operational needs.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to align teams, communicate priorities and drive customer-focused outcomes.
• Strong understanding of service operations and business needs, with the ability to identify repair capability opportunities and drive improvements in customer experience, turnaround time, operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Experience with reporting tools and systems such as SAP CRM and SAP ECC, with the ability to translate service data into actionable insights, is an advantage.
• Strong communication, mentoring and knowledge-transfer skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and developing technical capabilities.
• Excellent command of English and fluency in the local language.
