Index Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain indexes for various financial instruments, including equities, fixed income securities, and commodities.
• Collaborate with traders, research analysts, and other stakeholders to create new indices or modify existing ones.
• Conduct regular reviews of index methodologies to ensure alignment with market trends and regulatory requirements.
• Provide analytical support to clients by creating reports on index performance, sector analysis, and investment strategies.

Job Requirements :

• 2-8 years of experience in the capital markets industry or related field (e.g., asset management).
• Strong understanding of indexing principles and practices in the context of capital markets.
• Proficiency in Python programming language or similar tools used for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
