Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Laying out pages as per design file and specification within stipulated time.
• Making sure all marked corrections are properly interpreted and diligently carried out and no errors are introduced.
• Align journal contents such a headers, abstract, keywords, tables, paragraphs, figures, math equations, references etc, as per customer specifications.
• Pre-flighting PDFs and fixing any log errors.
• Coordinating with other team to ensure timely completion of allotted jobs.
• Adapting to working environment and defined workflow.

Candidate profile:

• Graduate with 2+ years of experience in publishing industry.
• InDesign with XML. In addition to books, if have worked on Journals will be added advantage.
• Good knowledge in Journal workflow.
• Analytical skills to review input material and logical understanding of template.
• Flexible to work in shifts.
